Several pictures of AKB48 members Mayu Watanabe and Miku Tanabe cosplaying at Tokyo Big Sight have recently surfaced online. Dressed as Sheryl Nome from Macross Frontier and Yui from K-On! Respectively, Watabe and Tanabe graciously agreed to pose with visiting fans and fellow AKB48 members.
Mayu Watanabe will be part of the cast of the upcoming AKB0048 animated series, a show coincidentally directed by Macross Frontier co-creator Shoji Kawamori. And that's it for your six-degrees-of-Kevin-Bacon moment of the day. Such elegant fan service on their part, don't you guys agree?
